COVID-19 Impact Statement

The COVID-19 pandemic brought enormous changes to how we live with  uncertainty and It is normal to experience a wide range of emotions the unknown, social isolation from work, family members and friends. There is constant worry about getting infected, the impact of virtual learning, when will the pandemic be over, when will things return to normal, job security and what’s next. In the course of COVID-19 pandemic, people are experiencing depression, stress, anxiety, fear, sadness and loneliness. 


The COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact the community and homelessness crisis, including posing unique health risks to the population and spurring a likely increase in homelessness due to job losses. Homelessness resources are healthcare in the sense that the environment greatly affects mental health outcomes. New housing programs are being implemented supporting the prevention of homelessness. Everyone reacts differently to stressful situations and Hope Mental Wellness Advocacy is here for you advocating for services and resources on your behalf.
